I'm actually enjoying the game even though it's a mobile port nothing wrong with that, considering it works. I know the game is old but will there be a sequel to this?

I am entirely unable to leave it, or beat it. When I die and hit continue it loads my last save, which was on the island, and the magic prevents me from teleporting out. I am unbelievably fed up at this point. This side quest was objectively poorly designed....
