Anyone for some Quarantine multiplayer?
I haven't played this game in about 5 years but just starter tinkering around with single player again. I'm reminded how dumb the AI is and how much more fun the game was with a human opponent!

If there still exists any multiplayer community for this game, please give me a shout! I'm quarantined with all the time in the world.

Do the desync issues persist? I haven't MP'd on this thing since the Loa came out. And yeah... the combat AI... the one true failing of sots2... :( Not sure what's going on there, it's pretty good in sots1. I feel like it was just never really turned on here, or something - they just don't really maneuver much. But you know what? It's still better than nuMoO's, lol. Plus the deep combat simulation makes up for it when compared to its competitors, imo -- nothing else like it on the market outside of SOTS1.

Troubles or not, this is a good game. It could have been legendary. I hope they reboot the series at some point :)

There are occasional crashes. But it's honestly quite rare. In my recent multiplayer games I'd say one crash per 8 hours or so of gameplay?

Mods help immensely. The Save our Sots patch has fixed a large number of desync problems.

(Things like colony traps still break the game, so you just don't build those)
