Glitching is considered exploiting due to the fact that you're doing something you're not supposed to do. Period. Intentional glitching isn't a part of the game, and is not intended to be a part of the game. That's common sense. Harmless or not. You yourself even mention a glitch, but then go on to explain how to do it and what it does. That means you knew, and that means it wasn't unintentional.
Reskinning assets is common in literally every single MMO you can think of, and don't you dare say that's not the case for WoW or any other on the market. You can find reused assets in literally any of the games you'd list.
Swearing is a problem for you? Sucks! Learn to control your mouth then. Just because it's on Steam doesn't mean the company can't have its own rules in place. If you've really been around long enough, you'd know this is commonplace in ALL of their games. To complain about it in AQ3D provides no real argument unless you're talking about AE as a whole. Which, I have some beef with personally when it comes to the filter, but that really doesn't detract for me in AQ3D.
Barely run into AFKs, personally. Usually just some people stopping at a crafting spot.
The attacking higher level monsters has been updated to not be nearly as bad as it was initially, haven't had many issues with this in a long while.
Gold isn't useless, it's used to buy almost everything in shops and is necessary for crafting. Higher level items require more gold to craft. Pretty important if you ask me.
Graphics opinions are subjective. Could use work, yeah, but I like the style it has.
The community is filled with a lot of younger people. That's expected when it comes to a family-friendly game. Not surprised that you'd run into some arguments or people that don't agree with you so highly that they'd report you. Is that okay? No, but if you were truly banned, you likely deserved it and have probably done more than you're leading on.
I wouldn't report you for having an opinion, but that doesn't mean I can't tell you what I think of your thoughts:
This is a childish rant. You simply lack self-control and don't know how to be a decent person in-game, and while the company has issues it could work on and isn't a perfect group of people, that doesn't mean they don't have good intentions or that they don't care - nor does people praising them mean they think they can do no wrong.
Shouldn't have wasted money if you felt this strongly already, by the way. That's on you.
While yes, that means no more AQW, AQ3D, which are the games I do love, in the long run it's better. It becomes a lesson to other small game companies to not to take their fanbase for granted and yank them around like AE has. While, no, we don't have any money at stake right now, it is a complete lack of respect. They think they can keep dragging things out with no answers and pacify with copy n paste answers, and that shouldn't be how anyone does.
Now, this isn't anything personal to AE or that I'm saying we should boycott them. I will probably still support the game, especially if things improve. But I really am annoyed with the company, it's conduct, and I don't want to see this again, and if AE has to die to teach that lesson, then so be it.
