Or should I wait for the other Adventure Quest game coming?

My AQ experience as a child was playing it for 10 minutes at school. I didn’t have internet at home. So barely any nostalgia. Just looking to casually play/click whilst zoning out and watching YouTube etc. seems pretty chill?

Yes, its worth to play AQ3D its one of those casual MMO where you can drop it and pick it really easy

just be aware that most dungeon are dead and if you looking for group on their official discord no one will respond

Is it fully single player accessible, or will I just get punished for not partying up? I'm looking to play completely alone basically.

Yes you can solo almost completely in the sense you'll be able to follow the story lines all the way to the end solo.

If you want to min max your gear then you'll need a group but there is enough options to gear for solo players that's good enough.

I only solo and had no problems with it.

To clarify... you don't "need a group" for 99.99999% of everything in the game.

There are things that take multiple people to be possible but you don't have to form a group for them because everything is either open world or insta-queue matchmade where you just enter the instance you're trying to run and you automatically get put into an open spot with other people doing the same thing.

There are only a very few places in game where there are start timers that make it nearly impossible to let random group fill mechanic work. For those, if you want to run them, you'd have to set up a group before entry. I can only think of maybe one or two activities in game that work this way.

Even the raids in game designed for large groups don't require coordinating and forming a group before hand. Those use a more typical queue system where it's impossible to enter before you get the appropriate number of people to run it. The queue system is just talking to someone to enter queue then you wait (or go about doing other non-instanced things) while the queue fills and you're given a pop-up to enter the raid.

Wow. I didn't think this company still existed. I abandoned AQW after a series of unfortunate events a long time ago. I was looking for hack & slash games, and for some reason, THIS one showed up. Is this game an ARPG, or is it turn-based like its endless predecessors?

This game is real time, not turn based. It's not a classic hack-and-slash game either, though. Its free, just check it out

they probably talk about AQ Infinity, which is basically a new version of AQW, in a new engine and stuff^^

They not making a new AQW, they are thinking about switching to a better engine.

i don't like AQ3D because its more like a mobile mmo, and i hate mobile games. i wish they made it more of a PC game like the originals, but i guess mobile gaming is popular.
