Because of that, I don't believe aq3d Guardian would unlock Guardian in any other Artix games.
other artix games(s) - Incorrect.
AQW is the ONLY artix game that uses the monthly subscription payment model.
Every single other one only ever offered one time purchases. I bought pretty much them all, but never AQW since I don't like the monthly model, I play the games too sporadically for it to work out.
And yea, each game you obviously have to pay for Guardian / Dragon Amulet / Star Captain / it's equivalent.
Linking accounts generally just provides a small perk from the other game, to give a little cross-play incentive.
And while there might of been some small benefit for linking your AQW account in the past (like ancient past, beta) for AQ3D, there is none atm.
The only related ongoing one I can think of is linking original AQ account with guardian upgrade unlocks the guardian class in Dragonfable. But unlike paying for the 1 time upgrade, it doesn't unlock the thousands of hour of content/items/etc.. It just gives the 1 guardian class and a related quest. There is a larger questline involving guardians, but it's free to play for anyone.
