Some classes provides you extra token. if you have guardian class from the guardian pack you can do an extra quest from guardian training and trade those tokens for another extra tokens from other classes (like pirate or moglimancer give you 55 class tokens for 25 guardian tokens) also from their quest story (i think those are only dragonslayer at dragonfall chain quest, necromancer at doomwood chainquest, pirate from lolosia chainquest).
Just keep on mind you can only do 1 class daily quest per day i mean if you do pirate daily quest and complete it you cant do ninja or paladin daily quest.
THERE IS NOT OTHER WAY to unlock classes faster unless you buy it.
Altogether, each class you unlock should take any initial quests plus 7 daily quests for that class. Daily quests typically take a few minutes to do.
As mentioned by Z0k above, if you choose to buy the guardian upgrade, you get a small bonus daily quest that lowers the number of days you need to do dailies to unlock a class to 5.
Guardian is the only class you would need to actually spend money to unlock because it's tied to the guardian upgrade.
Don't worry though, it isn't considered super powerful when compared to the other classes. They've taken great care in maintaining a roughly even balance among power for all the classes.
As to other concerns about AQ3D being a "cash grab", there is a daily treasure chest you can open from your menu in game that gives the premium currency almost every day.
Also, if you play on mobile (Steam doesn't allow advertisements) you can get even more of the premium currency from watching ads every day.
Considering a good portion of their monetization comes from free to the players advertisements and you get a decent amount of the premium currency for free on a regular basis, guardian upgrade is the only thing you'd ever have to actually pay for.
Guardian is not a super powerful p2w type class and the other portions of guardian upgrade are mostly cosmetic.
To be fair, a game where you can easily get hundreds if not thousands of hours of play time if you enjoy it is definitely worth the $20 or so for a guardian package IMO. That's why I got it myself a few years back.
