Basic Warrior has some good AoE attacks. Rogue isn't bad, especially since using the Heavy poison ability and the regular poison ability causes them to stack. ;)
If you go for a Guardian purchase, well, it's probably the BEST version of the guardian class I've played. I've played the original AQ and Dragonfable since WAY back, and it's pretty easy to say that. Though it would be nice if the first skill you learn as a Guardian included a 3-hit combo like in the original AQ. It's a 1 hit that dramatically increases your Guardian Marks (+4) whereas a standard attack is +1 per attack. When the Guardian mark is at 10, your other Guardian skills are more powerful. This is makes the guardian class stand out a bit more for viability compared to the original AQ and DF.
Those are all the classes I have access to right now I'm working on Unlocking other classes. Pirate is next on my list. Takes a bit long, especially considering I hit the NEW level cap of 30 last night after literally logging only 120 hours of playtime in the last week or so since I signed up. But it's fun, and there are other quests and things to find and unlock. The new Heartwood event is a little short, but pretty good on content.
Anyway, as you unlock and train new classes, check the classes section for skills and look at each classes level ranks to see what works for you as you improve the classes you have available to you and the ones you unlock. Also, the cross skills that you learn when you max out a class at rank 10, the skill that you can use regardless of which class can be really useful! And can give a class you might be leveling, or that you prefer a bit of OOPH when you need it in a pinch. For instance, Mage with Warrior's cross skill, great if you find yourself surrounded and need to hit more than you can with Fireball's limited AoE. XD
Happy battling!
