SPOILERS HER is impossible to defeat/gun doesn't work?

i'm on the part where you have to shoot HER and she is literally impossible to shoot - for starters sometimes the revolver doesn't even work when i've loaded it with 6 or more bullets and only starts to work after several re-launches of the game. secondly, she just moves too quickly for me, it seems impossible to kill HER, is anyone else having this issue?

I found out you don't have to aim at HER to actually kill HER. So just turn around and start running.

it's no good, i still can't kill HER. i can only hit her three times before i die. it seems the gun doesn't respond quick enough to my clicks. is there a way to switch the mouse controls for a button control with the gun? it's quite irritating that i can't progress simply because it doesn't like the kind of mouse i use

Shoot 3 times while walking backwards, turn around and run away from her until the end of that section, look back at her shoot 3 more times.

still no good unfortunately, the gun doesn't shoot when i move, by the time i've run to the end of the section i can only get her three times

Just try rapidly clicking, it takes time to fire each shot.

Just finished this part of the game. You think you had/have it hard with a badly responding mouse fire?

You should try playing with a mouse-pad. It's worse than ANY mouse playing, I'd say, on account of the fact that turning requires a double tap because the game sucks at picking up my pad with just dragging. The whole game, whenever I want to turn, I need to double-tap and then drag... ARGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try moving into the forest and avoid HER!

you dont have to aim to hit, just activate her, SPRINT, BUT ALSO SHOOT WHILE DOING SO!!! dont go into the forest she wont get stuck!!!!
just stay on the path and i cant stress this enough DONT GO INTO THE FOREST
