Endings
So, I actually got the door ending first. But not because I'm a heartless jerk. I actually picked up the flower and I thought White Face was gonna be on the other side of the door. I then had to start over from and old save file I had in the labyrinth :P Anyway, in the end, I'm not sure which is the "good ending". I'd assume that labeling them would all come down to whether or not "White Face" is a "bad guy". In the door ending, you kill/delete "White Face". I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. At first glance, I thought it was bad. The reason for that is because it seems as though "White Face" isn't inherently evil, but rather, it's just clinging onto you. Constantly "playing" with you, because it's scared you'll abandon it. The poor thing is simply scared of being alone. Now here's the issue with that: If you give "White Face" the flower, it resets everything. This means that you're in a loop that will continue forever as long as you keep giving it the flower. This seems like a bad thing. But it makes "White Face" happy, because it gets to play with you and you'll never abandon it. But going through the door breaks the loop, and that sounds like a good thing... So in conclusion, I think "White Face" is sort of like Monika from Doki Doki Literature Club. It has understandable motifs, but what it's doing is still wrong. It's understandable that it's terrified of being alone, but it's still trapping you with it against your own free will, which is wrong. Giving "White Face" the flower is like giving into a toxic relationship. When you've been going through hell, and you're about to leave, but your partner begs you to stay, and so you do. This also explains what happens in the door ending. The door ending is when you make up your own mind and leave. When you leave, your partner tries to make you feel bad and makes YOU look like the monster. They may use sentences such as, "You don't even deserve to be touched.", which is what "White Face" says. My theory is that Ivan Zonatti was in a toxic relationship, and when he left, his partner may have said those exact words to him. The way he got it all off his chest was by making a video game. Anyway, what do you guy's think?

As for the lore/backstory of the game itself, I have a theory that this is exactly what happened between "White Face" and "HER". I think "White Face" was a male victim, and as a result, that became the only form of love he knew, thus why he acts the way he does in the game. But I think there's a little bit more added to the story. I believe "White Face" never escaped the toxic relationship. I think he was driven insane or at least to the brink of insanity. He resorted to killing "HER", shooting her six times in the chest. Then, after realizing what he did, felt immense guilt. More than he could handle. Not being able to take it anymore, he hung himself, going white in the face. Thus the name "White Face". And when you try to kill yourself, he says, "I'm afraid I can't let you do that." As in "I'm not letting you make the same mistake I did. But hey! That's just a theory. A GAME THEORY. Thanks for reading.
