App Crashes on Start

I had the chance to play this at a friends house on the Switch and was really excited to play it on Steam (even with some features missing). However, whenever I start the game, it crashes and generates a crash report.

I tried the --nosave option but it didn't affect anything. If I can't get this fixed soon I'm probably going to seek a refund which I'd rather not do. Thanks for any assistance.

Hey cybernetsurfer7! Man, I'm sorry it's crashing for you.

Where exactly it is crashing? Is is when the games launches or is it on the Player Select screen?

I see two dashes in " --nosave", can you try it with one? " -nosave"

Hey RustyM! Thanks for the reply. It crashes right when I try to start it up. The Steam starting game window opens, I get an option to Play, Start In Fullscreen, Start In Windowed. Regardless of which I choose, the Steam window closes and then nothing happens except the dump log file is added to the game's directory. I've tried two dashes, one dash, no dash and dash with quotes around it. No dice : ( Any help would be great. If there is anything more you need me to grab for you (debug info) I'll gladly send it your way.

Can you email me the log dump file to [e-mail] ? Should be helpful for debugging it.

Also what are your system specs?
- Windows version
- RAM
- CPU
- Graphics card
- etc.

Oh, and can you try updating your graphics card drivers? (Sometimes it's just a bug in OpenGL that this fixes.)

After troubleshooting this, it appeared to be a conflict with AVG Anti-Virus. After updating AVG, Astro Duel is now working. :)
