You can mod in the end date quite easily - just remember if you do so to change it back for multiplayer, as the games have to be completely the same. Go to the victoria 2 folder -> go into the common folder -> go into Defines.lua file (open in notepad) and you will see then start date and end date modifier - change the end date to what ever you want and enjoy.

Victoria ends in 1936 because that's where the Hearts of Iron games take over. And the Victoria games begin where the Europa Universalis games end.

If I recall correctly, you can play through Crusader Kings 1 > Europa Universalis 2 > Victoria 1 > Hearts of Iron Doomsday, in sequence, loading your end-game save from one game into the next game in line, and take your chosen nation all the way from 1066 up to the mid-1950s; nearly 900 years. Which is pretty awesome :-D

I'm sure someone else can clarify whether it's still possible to do that with the current versions (i.e. Crusader Kings 2 > EU3 > Victoria 2 > HOI 3) and whether or not you need the various expansion packs for those games to do it.

yes should be possible from eu3 -> victoria2 -> hoi3.. i didnt looked it up but maybe there is an ck2 -> eu3 converter too.

Yeah there's a CK2 to EUIII converter.
One of the devs on EUIV mentioned he wanted native conversion for CK2 -> EUIV.

because it starts from ck (crusader kings) to hearts of irons when it ends for example ck ends in 1453 and then it transfers to the next game that is eu (europa universalis) so that the game can become modernized and paradox gets more money when you have to buy games to continue to play the series, also if ck continues after 1453 , eu would be useless to buy

people saying its about money are bitter, all these games have very different gameplay.

when vicy2 ends, so does an era and an era of war starts, which is why hearts of iron, a wargame, is taking over.

ck2 is about feudalism and religious wars, EU4 is about imperialism etc etc

How do I make CKII>EUIV>HOI3?

You just can't directly convert EU4 to HOI3... Anyway, I think someone made convertion from CK2 to EU4; I suggest you visit the CK2 or EU4 channel
