Map Properly Initialised Crash

i recently purchased a new computer and began to download my games. after downloading victoria 2, i ran the game and it got frozen on the "map properly initialised" screen. it's frustrating because this game worked fine on my old computer any help would be appreciated.

Go to programfiles(x86)/Steam/Steamapps/common/Victoria 2/map/cache there should be a file called Time delete that file and it should work

If deleting the "time" file doesn't work, you need to go to programfiles(x86)/Steam/Steamapps/common/Victoria 2/map and there is a file called cache. you need to delete everything in the map and then run the game from the Victoria 2 map folder(programfiles(x86)/Steam/Steamapps/common/Victoria 2/v2game). after that you exit the game and you should be able to run the game with steam

thanks for your help but i think thats the fix for the "initialising maplogic" crash on the picture of the train. my crash occurs on the picture of the woman (queen victoria?) kneeling down when it says "map properly initialised". ive tried both of your suggestions but neither worked

I updated my graphics driver and it worked, might want to try that
