The host has a different version of the game
Hello all, I have with my friends a big problem ! We play since a long on Victoria II with my Hamachi server.. Since some weeks my friends can't come in my party of Victoria II because a message tell : The host has a different version of the game .. >< My friends have created server hamachi too, I have try to join, the same.. We have make the upgrade on the Viky 2 launcher but nothing to do.. Can you help me please ?!

I have clear the Cache folder too, nothing to do

It might be since you and friends have DLCs
Like A house divded or heart of darkness. they change the version completely

I've had these issues with Hearts of Iron III, and it most likely is the same thing. Make sure your checksum is the same before you try and start a match.

It might be that some of you have dlc's that someone else doesnt have since you all need the exact same dlc's.

on title screen there is Victoria 2 X.X (XXXX) the 4X is the checksum ^^ a 4 digit code of letters which has to be 100% identical. even adding a new picture to the game can compromise it!
