Ultimate Ultimatum vic2 problem

So, to describe the issue: I am not very well versed in technical stuff but i managed to convert and successfully play a mega campaign from ck2 to vic2. Then i got interested in ultimate ultimatum mod which promised to extend the game into the modern times and so on. I always started the game from the launcher with both conversion mod selected and ultimate ultimatum selected. But, when i came to a year 1936, the game stopped as if i haven't never even installed the ultimate ultimatum mod. Then i searched the net for a solution but all i discovered is that the only save files that ultimate ultimatum will address and play are located in its own save folder, in other words all my other saves were in a different folder. So the solution seemed simple enough, just to transfer one of my saved files from another folder to the folder ultimate ultimatum has access to. Well, this worked - in a way (better to say it worked in a very flawed way) because all my progress, including population, technology etc. was not read from the save, all that it read was territory. I was a very technically and population advanced nation and now all nations in this save start from zero population and technology development.
So is there a way for ultimate ultimatum to read my save correctly so that i can play from the point i reached before?

Oh i just wanted to add that i select only ultimate ultimatum mod when i started from this save i transferred to ultimate ultimatum saves to make sure that it keeps on saving games in its own folder.
