Victoria 2 with both expasion packs and all dlc wont work, "file expectation VirtualFilesystem.cpp line 662"
Does anybody know how to fix this bug for windows seven? It appears after getting to the "initalizing map-stuff" part.

1. Go into the game file
--Computer/HP: C/Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/common/Victoria 2
2. Go to the map file, click on cache.
3. Delete all its contents but DO NOT delete the folder.
4. Go back to all of the Victoria 2 folders.
5. Scross down to "v2game" and click it twice.
6. Start the game this way so that it reconfigures your game cache.
7. Exit Victoria 2 and you can now access it through Steam.

don't thank me i copy/pasted this from another thread
can confirm it works. for a long time i had to use the exe.foleder to launch the game then tried this and can run it normally with steam now.

Thanks for the tip DirtyClaw (where ever you got it from). If I want to play the base game I just have to select that in the single player campaign thing I guess?
