Any good or "must have" mods?

Hi guys, I'm relatively new to the game and even newer to the (seemingly dead) modding scene. I'm asking because I'm not sure where to start, and I figured any active players could lend some advice.

I'm interested in any mods that may add new start dates, graphical enhancements that improve colors/flags, or anything that can be considered "must have" in terms of UI improvement or rebalancing. Let me know, I'd appreciate it.

If u dont have both expansions (AHD) or (HOD) i cant really help you. I suggest u get them because they both are worth it

Victoria Ultimate adds Multiple new start dates such as...... 1700 1748 1776 1800 1939 1976 or (cold war) 2000 and 2023.

So that covers American Revolution Pre American colonizations, napoleon, WW2, Cold war, modern day and the future.

That mod is like all the mods in one BUT there is a couple Altnerate histroy and some fix mods too.

This one is disunited states and i have spent about 50 hours just in this mod

You got all the states there and you can even reform USA form the WSA (Westernstates) NSA (northern states) ESA (eastern states) and of course the CSA. GREAT GREAT MOD

This is the Pops demand mod ( i am sure u have heard of this mod) it adds more trade goods, more countries and more CB's also a LOT more events.

This is the sir mod and it adds TONS AND TONS of CB's and u know as spai u cant annex france but on this u can annex france in a single war.

This is the Kaiserreich mod. It is a alt history mod that shows u what would of happend if Germany won World war 1 not world war 2 WORLD WAR ONE! A TON more events and the best music in a mod.

If u wanna get into modding mod Pops Demand mod or Ultimate. Pops is pretty easy to mod but ultimate is a little bit harder

I'm having one hell of a time trying to get the POP Demand mod. I've tried the step by step process on the paradox forums. Does anyone have an easy to read step by step instructions on how to get the pop demand mod to work?
