I have added the NNM to my vanilla game on Steam and am impressed enough to want to start it as default every time now. Is there anything I can put into the Steam script box or whatever to default to the mod being ticked/selected when I start the game every time?

No, dont think so but you could copy your game folder for example to the desktop, take the mod content and drag it into it, say yes to overwrite existing stuff and that game will be by default with all the new stuff. Create a shortcut to the .exe and name it "Vic2 NNM" and youre done.

Or you just spend that 1sec every time you start Vic2^^
