issues with pop demand mod.

ive installed it, ive put everything where its meant to be, ive verified, and installed new files, and it still doesnt register the mod as existing upon launch. any tips?

I have both aswell it took me ages to fnd out which one to get. download and install "POPS of Darkness" thats what I did

i downloaded the final mod and the hotfix from the reddit page. is pop of darkness gunna conflict?

I had the same problem, did you put both PDM files that come with the mod into the Victoria 2 mod folder?

Didn't it show up in the mod box of the game lancher or didn't it show up in game ?
Did you check the mod in the launcher box ?

PoD or Pops of Darkness is Pop Demand for VicII with Hearts of Darkness.
I assume you meant you downloaded PoDFinal and its hotfix.

I assume you meant you downloaded PoDFinal and its hotfix.

firstly, thats what i meant.
in the mod folder, with the hotfix inside the pdm folder.
steam file verification.
it had to update some files, which i let happen.
it didnt appear in the mods box.
and yes you are correct in your assumption.

Well inside the "mod" folder of your game folder should be a "PDM" folder and a "PDM.mod" file.
The mod file makes it show up in the box. It usually displays as a media file.

If that isn't the case then, have you actually unpacked/extracted the rar file ?

If so, look if there is an extra unnecessary folder level now. Sometimes during
unpacking there gets another folder level created and both the PDM folder and mod file would be inside that.

Regarding the hotfix, you should unpack it and overwrite the mod files already existing.

yup, those are there, theres no unnercerssary levels i can see, and i did extract it yes.
