Does World War 1 happen in Victoria 2????

Actually World War I IS POSSIBLE. But not as historically, because it is pretty obvious why, different events game isn't railed to the same path, sometimes German Empire forms sometimes doesn't etc. However if you have all the DLC you should get something unlocked in the early 20th century and or late 19th century called Great Wars they happen randomly and lead to PLENTY of casualties, here is an example of one http://prnt.sc/atly8c. There around 1.5 million men died total on each side, not much really in one of my other saves where I played as Spain, unfortunately picture was lost 8.7 million men died on both sides and close to 400 ships were sunk. Greatest war I have ever fought casualties wise, most you usually get are around 2-3 million. But yeah Great Wars can and will happen but not as it did historically, it may be over something stupid like Britain wanting to give Poland land from Ukraine which was libereated by Germany and in there sphere starting a crisis and all that goodness...

"Great Wars" get unlocked in 1890 and happen whenever a war with 2 GPs on each side starts, usually a great war starts as a result of a crisis. Great wars have reduced infamy penalties and maybe also reduced warscore costs, allowing much bigger changes after the war is over.

A quick way to do this is in 1850s, cheat and have Austia-Hungry/Austria take over 3 Serbian states (or if they changed the map and Serbia has less than 3, all of the cores). Use the concole to raise the flashpoint in Serbia to the max. Now you need to move aroudn nations witohut unpausing the game. Have Prussia/NGF and one random great power (maybe Spain?) back Austria while France backs Serbia. Hope in as Great Brittain and jump into allies (hisorical) or Austria-(HUngry?) which almsot happened https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fashoda_Incident . Yes, Germany nearly won WWI with the British helping them. Anyways, dpending on your nations, you have WWI or a modified WWI.
