Oh and one more question:
I saw that there is a mapmode where you can see the resources of each state but I cant find it :( I am playing on hpm btw
You will have research several techs before you can build your own machine parts industry. Luckily when you finish researching the tech needed you will be granted some machine parts to use in building the new industry. Make sure that you do NOT sell those parts automatically to the World Market, until you get your own machine parts industry up and running.
When I would play as Great Britain, I would delibrately NOT sell any machine parts, in order to really hurt the efforts of the other countries to build new or expand old industries.
It means that if you are ranked low enough you can't build anything until other countries have built up their economy and offer enough supply for you to buy it.
The only workaround is either to build yourself what you need (or have access to it through your internal market, ie. sphere), or increase your rank.
