I did o.o
I assumed the laptop I was using is new enough to be on that. I tried 84 bit too as the suggestions I read said but never did I try the 32 bit. This was my first time with this issue and I only went through fixes for roughly an hour before finding this one. I already had CK2 installed so I just had to start it up and then after that I went to Victoria 2 and it worked.
I uninstalled the game, deleted and uninstalled all the programs and files it put on, the same with Crusader Kings 2. I installed the 64 bit and 84 bit programs and that got it to work. Starting up CK2 did not make it work this time. However it did before so I don't know why it changed unless I missed something. but I never touched the 32 bit since I wanted to try the other options again first. My point is the 32 bit was not needed for me. The 64 and 84 were enough.
I could try this again with 32 bit though if you would like me to.
Ah okay, I see what you mean. So I probably did not need to install the 64 bit and the 86 bit would have been enough.
