HFM Checksum
A friend of mine recently got Vic 2, and upon my urging also HFM, however he can not seem to get the correct checksum, he always ends up with WNVU, when what he needs is HHRD, as that is what me and the other 9 people we play with has, im not really sure why, as we've tried everything we have done before when we faced this problem. Every time before this, these solutions worked but now it seems to have no effect, so please i'd love some help so our friend does not feel left out and like he wasted his money

He does have all the dlc, yes?

WNVU is the default v3.04 checksum without any mods.
So he should have all DLCs @whatamidoing

It sounds like he simply doesn't start with HFM. Even with the wrong HFM version or some modded files loaded in, he would not have WNVU, so the problem is loading the mod.

How sure are you he downloaded & unzipped it correctly and actually checked the mod in the launcher?

He showed me a screenshot, of it in his launcher

That means the .mod file is where it should be, but he could have messed up the the folder. And just to make very sure, he's not having a big brain moment and forgetting to check the mod off in the launcher, right?

I woulden't put it past him that he forgot to check the mod, ill make sure he does when he comes online, thanks for the help
