Recrut General/Admiral code?
Can anyone tell me how can I create a general/admiral and edit his stats in the game? Is there a way to do it through console?

Don't think so.
You could edit his stats in the savegame though. Find his name and edit to your liking.

In the save file search for your capital, for example capital=322 for Stockholm (Sweden/Scandi),
then for leader= and you get where you want to edit background and personality.

What traits exist for each category and what they do can be seen in
common/traits.txt
or at

Thank you very much, I wish I knew how to edit the year generals are recruted in general for each nation so that I could do a" submod" where we would have historical generals being recruted in their approriate historical moment.

You can do that!

Just make an event using the year as a trigger using this:

That sounds great, but which file do I have to write/edit events so that they happen in every game I play?

I'd make an own event file for it (and mod).

Look through existing files or mods, it explains itself pretty fast how to mod the game. Else there is I think a tutorial on the wiki on modding, but not sure if its good.

Last alternative is to add me and I can explain it 1:1 how to add events, but I'm a bit full of work in the next time so might take a week or so for me to find time.

Thank you very much! I'm gonna give it a try first and in case I don't figure it out I'll message you if you don't mind.

I can't add you, it says your list is full.

Oh thank you, I'm going to! I was a little busy in the last few days, but now I'm back

That one multiplayer mod has general spawning events, you can look and see how it works. It basically just makes sure everyone has a 4-4 general, but you can mess with the triggers and the like to make specific generals with specific names with specific traits spawn for specific countries at specific times.

Oh thank you very much sir! I'm gonna try it this week for sure (I'm praying)! So, do I need to create a txt file with these codes, right? And where am I supposed to save the file? In the HFM mod folder?
whatamidoing Jun 23, 2020 @ 8:12am
They're events, so the file would go in the events folder.
Dan Jun 30, 2020 @ 2:36am
Does the file need to have any special name or any name will do?

Anything should work
