Sound bug?

Whenever I start the game, the music stutters and stops/restarts in a painful manner. Is there a reason for this/ fix? I am running this on Windows 10.

No idea on thhis specifically, but any sound/music issues in the past got fixed by installing codecs covered by K-Lite Codec Pack here :

Just for information :
It usualy suffices to install the Basic pack with codecs only, as far as i recall.
If you installed any bigger variant, uninstalling the video/music players etc is fine, as the codecs themselves stay behind, unless selected when specifically uninstalling through the codec program.
