Rubber. What part of the world is it in?

Can't find it. Or is it unlocked by a tech? If so, which one? Is there a factory for making it or is it like Tea, etc. Just out there to be found.

It spawns later in the world ca 1900, mostly in Java and Nigeria I think

New technologies of that same (Electronics, Cars, Tanks,...) Depend on it

Thanks Lembley. Playing Japan, I've seen the Kobe province magically change from Cotton to Precious Metal. Does that happen...the province's resource actually changes?

Yes by event. It changes every game the same though. Only Gold, Oil, Rubber and so forth.

Mmmmm something to look forward to. I'm really enjoying Japan, but a couple of their best states have poor resources so the output bonus isn't there. Kansai? Right? With 3 Tea and a Grain and a Silk. Hoping that Precious Metal in Kobe is a key for Electrical Parts, we'll see.

Silk is quite good as it's rare. So you can produce luxury clothes quite profitable

Gold is money, straight up. If you look in your budget screen you will see a line under tax income telling you how much income you are getting converting Gold to coinage. It is not used in any industry.

Where it did historically. South America, Africa and Indonesia.

Synthetic rubber also becomes a thing in the late game.

Which mod would this be in? Vanilla, BAI, HPM, and HFM don't appear to have any synthetic rubber factory.
