Problems with installing Divergences of Darkness?

I'm using the 3.03 version of this game, I installed the files for DoD and put them in the mod folder. The .MOD file is separate from the folder for Divergences of Darkness which has another folder with the same name & a customization folder.
When I boot up the game with the mod selected, it says the directory can't be found, where am I going wrong? Thanks!

Check the .mod folder and look what's noted as the path. Maybe the path doesn't point to the mod folder?

Did you move the .mod file mod folder itself?

Yes it's the download from GitHub, I figured out you have to open the master zip and copy each file into your mod folder one by one, I did the mistake of just copying the whole zip. Took me a good few months to finally get to play this!

I can't get it to work, do you have any suggestions? my mods folder includes the file and the mod.

@voluseraptor, I know this is late, but you're supposed to simply decompress a zip file. It will then spill out its contents. A zip / rar file is just a compression format. No need to do it manually in the future :)

@gbboy2525, Can you share a screenshot of your /mod/ folder please? Its easier to check on potential issues like that, than to ask "did you do this or that" :)
