Forming the Byzantine Empire

Hi ; let me ask you something about the game . You see I am trying to form the Byzantine Empire (although I am not sure if I have much time left until 1935 ! but this is something else ! ) . According to the Wiki , if I capture Macedonia and Rumelia , the Ottoman empire will move its capital from Konstantinopole to Ancara . However I have capture both , but the capital has not changed ! If so I'll have to conquer the whole Ottoman empire , which won't be possible unless I miraculously got 1,000 points of spare infamy !

Well, then let's check the Event files.
In the Turkish Event files we can find thte event 31102 "Flight to Ankara".

If gets triggered if:
- Ottoman is not a Great Power
- Its Capital is Istanbul
- It doesn't own Burgas, Stara Zagora and Dedeagatch
- It owns Ankara

It's MTTH (Mean Time To Happen) is 1 Month, so it's usually happens within one month. Note this doesn't mean it necessarily does.

The only option to react on it is to move the capital, so the AI has no choice.

You were right . After about a month the capital changed . I just had to wait for a while , thanks !
