V3.0 Remake Thread!
So, 3.0 is here. Renpy, controller support, other things.

Known issues -

Extras menu is empty (Intentional!)

Please reply with any bugs you find. Thanks.

EDIT - 3.1 is here. Credits should be visible. Fixed a few text errors. That's all, folks!

Should be deleted. It was a test, for me :)

I have found just one minor issue when transitioning from afternoon screen, or morning screen (or one of those remade screens) it showed a red line of text in the top left momentarily.

Text after this happens - (Not again... I stayed up way too late last night doing art.) Ria: AMIIIIIIII!!!!!

Although I noticed using the mouse scroller to scroll back and forth the text kind of really messed up the whole game and started putting things in wrong places. I assume because it skipped the choices?

I can not get "My Secret Catgirl!" and "Oops I Made It Again". I completed every storyline, but these two achievements did not show up.

Weird. Oops I made it again should trigger upon playing the game for the first time. Specifically, when Ria appears on screen for the very first time.

I'll investigate. Thanks.

Delete persistent files as mentioned in "What to do if achievements don't appear" elsewhere in this game's discussions. (I write a lot and I'd rather not write it all again...) That worked for me...

Okay I will try. :-)

I assme old save files are not compatible withthe 3.0 version?

Nope, entirely new engine. The difference is the equivalent of moving from Internet Explorer to Google Chrome :p

Thought so. I don't mind replaying the game in Ren'Py though. :fhappy:

Soooo... this version uses Ren'Py?
Does that mean we can expect a Linux (and Mac, for those so inclined) version in the not-too-far future?
A port can't be that hard at this point - there are about 5 million Ren'Py VNs out there that support all three systems...
(BTW: will you update the itch.io version at some point? It's still at 2.x, I think...)

Dev has said that a Linux version is pending... but he's also very busy with other projects. (Thing about being a small indie dev house, it's the Red Queen's race: you have to run as fast as you can just to stay in the same place.) I think the issue is Steam integration on those platforms -- has to be tested. Stay tuned...

Version 3.0 landed on itch.io two days ago - and it contains both Linux and Mac versions! (I guess a Steam version will follow at some point - but I don't much care, not being a big fan of Steam anyway... :-))

Yep. The Steam version has achievements, and it's testing that integration, I'm thinking, that is holding up the Linux drop here.
