No, she's not. She's the "black chick" from the Comics. Granted, at least the personality of Michonne is similiar in both Comic and TV (as much as I have seen, I haven't watched much of the TV Series), but given how different the TV Show and the original Comics are, they still are two different characters. Just look at how different Comic Rick is from TV Rick.
Over all I thought they did a good job with her character though, with the guilt of leaving her kids behind playing into her story, very well done and I think that part of the story is going to play a very BIG part in this mini series.
Yeah except last episode Michonne and Rick ended up in bed together and it looked like she was back with the group to me.

This has been pointed in several other threads. She leaves her katana with another character from the comics prior to the time skip.
Yeah because that's the TV show which is an entirely different and seperate canon which is mentioned in this thread.
