i myself definately like the tv show + i liked S1 and S2.
but... the Michonne game i felt like were very bad compared to, i guess the story is fine, its not really related to the other 2 seasons, but the gameplay itself i felt like were bad.
seemed like it were put together real quick and simple with alot of button mashing.
also since being a fan there were some things about how they made michonne that bugs me, nothing like the in the TV show at all.
i dont want to spoil to much in case you still wish to play the game so im not gonna go to much into details about the difference on her compared to the TV show.
if i had to rate the game i would only give it 5/10, and only recommend it if you REALLY want to experience everything about The Walking Dead world.
EDIT:
forgot to mention, the game is very short.
when episode 2 got released my save game somehow dissapeared so i had to play through episode 1 agian, and total i only spend 4 hours on all 3 episodes + 1 extra time on episode 1
They confirmed season three before season two was concluded.
To be honest, I stopped watching The Walking Dead in the middle of season two because Carl annoyed me so much. ( I loved season 1 btw) But I'm thinking of start watching it again since everybody says it's so much better now.
I like the story with Clementine, so I guess I won't buy this for now. Thank you so much for your answer!
Yeah, I also liked the story with Lee, Clem and Kenny. I'll start with playing season two and the coming season 3 first.
The Telltale games don't have anything to do with the show. The show is and always has been an entirely seperate canon and the Telltale games have always been set in the canon of the comics. While I can appreciate that why someone who has only played seasons one and two and watched the show but has never read the comic could be disappointed with how Michonne is portrayed in the game. At the same time it was never going to be that version of the character there is a reason Danai Giurra is not voicing the character so that disappointment is due to personal expectations which have only been set by yourself.
None of the Telltale Walking Dead games are based off the tv show, this was an amazing game if you read the comics. The choices somewhat matter in some places. The end was not good, but wasn't bad either. It's got some unique things in it and yeah, that's basically it.
However, like someone else, it matters on how much you love/enjoy the series. Truthfully, I'd recommend you get season 2 and the DLC before you get Michonne.
Thanks for your reply! I will look for it during the summer sale :)
If you read the comics ... it is worth playing.
If you haven't read the comics ... you might not like it.
This has some nice improvements to the visuals and gives insight to Michonne's story, but I didn't feel any kind of attachment to the other characters like I did in the main series.
As I mentioned before, reading the comics help. I had a huge attachement to Michonne which ten led to other attachements.;)
