White screen after starting

When I start the game I see just white screen, music is playing but nothing else happen.

I found a solution to the problem. The problem is full screen mode in HD, in my case it's 1920x1080. Then use full screen mode only with the native (default) resolution of your monitor!

- Right Click Game
- Properties
- Updates
- Uncheck, Enable Steam Cloud synch... at the bottom and close
- Go to Documents in File Explorer
- Double Click Telltale Games
- Delete The Walking Dead Michonne Folder
- You have now forced the game to download and use default settings
- Go to where you set resolution in game, choose your resolution
- DO NOT PLAY IN FULL SCREEN MODE (This is the issue)
- Hit back until you have to apply resolution
- Done

My default resolution is 1920x1080 so I cant play the game in this resolution? Its funny. This is not the first Telltale game so I dont understand why they cant handle it. Well I try to play in window. Thanks for help.

I also do not understand why they did not solve this mistake before they launched the game.
In my case, the default resolution of my monitor is 1360x768, playing with that full screen resolution is fine. But if I put the maximum resolution that is 1920x1080 full screen I can not play the game, why does it appear black or white screen.
So we see that the problem is full screen in HD, because in the common resolution in full screen we did not come across any problem.

if you have an AMD video card you can use the Radeon settings (should be on your control bar at the bottom right hand of the screen) and choose the gaming options, there will be profiles for your games listed there. Select this game from the list and at the bottom of the settings there is an option to use/not use Frame Rate Control. enable it and turn the max fps down to 30 or 40 or 60.

Use different than 1080p res. Best option is to use VSR / DSR and downscale the game from 4K for instance. Works great in any other resolution as far as I know. Terrible bug and TELLTALE don't give a fruck about it.

Game doesn'tlike fullscreen, gotta play it at windowed. When game starts up and you have white screen press ALT and ENTER at the same time, it will switch to windowed and solve your problem.

I am playing in fullscreen. I had same problem with white screen in fullscreen, but for me helped to change setting of screen on my computer - originally I had "duplicate" setting for monitor and TV. When I changed it only to one source (monitor), it is working without problems.
