Flight Stick?
Wondering what joy/flight stick i should pick for this software to fly around? I seen some on Amazon some are decent and some are very expensive. So i wouldnt want to spend more than fifty bucks on a joystick to flight this game, esp if it doesnt work properly.

Any suggestion?

I use the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. I can't personally recommend it though, currently half of the buttons don't work and the throttle is messed up. It's usable, but only because I don't want to have to go through the trouble of fixing it.

On the other hand, this joystick has quite a few positive reviews, so I bet mine is more of an outlier.

I have this Logitech Wingman, forgot which model. Its has a heavy base so it would stay put, but the problems is that it was used when i got it from ebay. Probably have to recalborate, just havent figure it out yet. On facebook, a friend recommend me getting the pedals too for more realism. Use Falcon BMS 4.33, gotta say it look really well on this rig i have here.

Havent flown Falcon in years, love the good ol days back Falcon 3.0 in the 90's. Too bad not many realistic flight sims out there.

Seems CH is the budget friendly, legit way to go.

Which model exactly? The ones I have seen all look significantly worse than the 3D Pro, at least functionality wise.

Also, I would like to add that I have fixed all the problems with my joystick. I had to take it apart; turns out a connector was loose. Pretty bad that the quality control sucks, but it has been working quite well since then.

I would like to know this as well.

CH products do look ♥♥♥♥. A very retro look. But they really work. I have the fighterstick, which button wise is very similar to the TM warthog, with 2 less buttons. The throttle is also very nice, really the sticks are not standalone as with the 3d pro, it needs to be used as a HOTAS system. and with pedals.
However you could use the CH Pro throttle perfectly fine alongside the 3d pro to get a hotas setup with a twist throttle. Personally, after using HOTAS I could not go back to a single stick with base throttle.

Also CH products can be programmed using their software, which can do amazing things.

I still have this logitech wing something setting in the closet, bought off ebay and it was used. It seem to work, but not sure if i can set it up properly for that game. So trying to decide if i should buy another one. This stick seem to be professional and heavy base, not sure what the retail price is for that thing. It has so many functions on it.

Btw not playing atm, but would like to have everything i need when the time come.

I also use the Logitech Extreme 3D and it works Fine in Falcon 4.0, except for the rudders that keeps moving with normal steering because it is build-in with the flight stick. This causes the plane to shake everytime with level flight. This happens also in DCS World. Of course you can disable this function and use the keyboard rudders instead.
The gas handle works fine and all of the 12-buttons are programmable.
