As i just installed BMS 4.37.2 I opened the BMS-Training manual. It sez this:
"3. We will assume that you use a realistic HOTAS layout; we will refer to HOTAS functions where appropriate by their name on the F-16 throttle and stick: TMS, DMS, CMS etc and not the keystroke."
Now I have a WARTHOG & I can switch, but i do not want to. it is heavy, the springs are heavy & my hands & wrists hurt like hell from m/c riding in winter, frostbite & arthritis. I have a steering wheel that is broke but the pedals work, i think time to look. (WH no twist rudder!)
Anyway for people who can afford it the warthog is nice i gurss but look how much it costs for the rest of the world, 3rd world ect.
a nice setup w/ TM PS4 HOTAS is less than 100 dollars, the Warthog with foot pads is like 500 dollars! I have mine but if BMS is lookin for members, than do not make it as expensive as possible. I bet if i was an expert with a cheap stick, a nice 1 would be an ez switch.
Also i was annoyed the training starts out w/cold start. I have had F4 since the day it came out & i never........................I prefer plane running on RW. People who are just learning do not need it to be as complex as possible. If people hang on they can learn all the little switches get us in the war first.
Let me know how u are doing with that stick I am not sure what I am gonna do, prob look at feet pad from TM wheel or buy a new set. GOOD LUCK ALL.
