How to Install BMS 4.37 with Steam?

I downloaded and ran BMS installer but it doesn’t seem to have modified the game.

Also, does BMS allow resolutions higher than the original game? Thanks

It will not install on the original Falcon 4.0 directory. It will install on its own directory. You have to execute from the BMS install folder.

you have to dl falcon 4.0 from steam, run it, exit it. Run the BMs installer while following the directions and then on your desktop it should have a launcher. It doesnt use your steam directory folder to install, it just needs the .exe to know you bought it.

then go to https://www.falcon-bms.com/downloads/

Slight necro, sry.
So since it only needs to know we have a legit .exe and BMS installs all its own stuff in its own place, can Falcon 4.0 itself then be safely uninstalled to save space?
EDIT: Figured it oot eh.
Anyone else wondering: You have to keep the .exe in the folder Falcon 4.0 was installed to, but you can delete everything else.

Falcon 4.0 is 575 MB, you must've been hurting for space 😂

A bit. DCS is HUGE! The 2TB drive was down to a couple hundred gigs. Gonna get DCS its own 2TB drive. LOL
