But if you get the mod named BMS then you can when you start a new campaign click an airport on the map and then select "squadron". Depending on what airport and what squadrong you select then you get a differentp plane..
I know the fa18 is avaliable on the carrier to the east on the map.
You can also fly other planes such as harrier, tornado, ect ect and even Russian planes.. some have a basic cockpit i think.
But technical speaking you can fly many different planes, and some have cockpits that look a bit like the real thing, while other as standard uses the f-16 cockpit when you view from the inside.
( i cannot remember if you can select other planes in the falcon 4.0 without any mod ).

if you do not know what bms is, then here is a video showing the beauty.
Be aware to be able to fly this, you need to watch some tutorial videos it take some time to learn.
But really cool mod further developed by fans who love falcon, with new graphics and features.

Flyable Aircraft
Primarily Falcon BMS 4.33 is about the Falcon, and over 20 variants are modelled. Other aircraft have 3D pits and complex models, but the F-16 is the ‘parent’ of the flight modelling and avionics. Here’s a quick list of the flyables in-game:
F-16
F/A 18 Hornet (with Naval Ops including Carrier)
Mirage 2000
A-10A/C
AV-8A/B Harrier
F-15 Eagle
Tornado
JAS-37 Viggen
There are also some simpler flyable versions of the following aircraft that aren’t quite as complete as the above set, but still incorporate 3D models and basic flight models:
F-4 Phantom
F-14 Tomcat
MiG-29
I was watching some FA-18 on Youtube & the new weather was very apparent. The leader flew into fog and guys 5 miles behind him still thoiught it was a nice day. Anyway I saw the weather work just like on the maps on mudspikes page.
