I'm in the tutorial area, and when I press the middle mouse button to cast a spell on myself after loading a life spell with W, an animation plays where my wizard thrusts his staff into the air and

loaded fine, but right in the beginning of the tutorial when it tells you to shift click. I do so, and the game just suddenly crashes without any error messages.
