Please do not clutter up this forum by dumping known problems in new discussions!
I've ceased my support of this thread, as most problems nowadays don't have a known fix. However I'll stay subscribed and will help if possible.

(Please be aware that I'm doing/did this purely voluntarily. I'm not an employee of Paradox Interactive, just a volunteer moderator.)

This had fixed most crashes in previous versions of the game, however, some crashes nowadays don't have any known fixes or workarounds.

There's no solution, it's a localisation problem and won't be fixed since Magicka doesn't have any dev team working on it anymore. A community made mod could fix this though.

Windows 10 issue - Background process
Set magicka.exe to run in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode. You can find this option by rightclicking magicka.exe. Open the properties, then Compatibility tab. Tick "Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3" and press OK. This prevents the program from running as a background application. There is an error message at startup, but just press continue and it should be fine.
Dungeons and Daemons: stuck in the library / can't move
If you go a little further, there's a checkpoint. Activate it and then die. You and your friend (who couldn't move) will respawn at the entrance of the library and everyone should be able to move.
This is just a workaround and obviously not a good option if you're trying to get the no-dying achievement.

I cant play multiplayer. It always stopped the downoload, the application is okkey but noghing happining
The help/tip menus in the game are constantly flickering, making them hard to read. Same with my Navi fairy companion. Anyone else got this, and is there a fix?

I frequently will be fighting a boss and if I die the game doesn't put me back at my checkpoint. Instead, I must restart the entire level by hitting esc. This is happening in All the stars left. Happened on the boss after the steam bridge and happened again at the end boss. Have to restart from the beginning, again. Chapter 3

I am having problems with the dlc, I have bought the full package, but when I look at the individual dlc 2 days later its say I do not have the "Magika Party Robes" . I have tried to buy it again it says I already own it.
Hey, I've recently downloaded the weeked trial for Magicka, and it looks great... but it won't play. I wouldn't be at this thread if it could.
I get the 'Magicka has stopped working, Windows is trying to find a solution' message.
I have run both the dotnetfx35, and the xnaf31_redist, as well as the DXSETUP. Do I have to buy the whole game to fix this, or is it bugged for both?
I run a windows 7, no special graphics cards that could be malfunctioning, but a computer that can probably handle the game's demands.

SOLUTION. Dungeons and daemons DLC. On my PC it crashed to desktop in room 2 when Vlad appears and speaks to a dying wizard. To solve it simply switch the language setting to English.
Having similar problem as this guy.
Only with me the problem is in Singleplayer as far as I understand (Story mode or something).

Thing is, sometimes I get into the game itself, narrator telling a nice story, get the screen with the red loading bar, then at 98% I get a CTD.

If I try to start the game again, it is ery well possibl, it wel not even start properly. Did a check in integrity of the files, installed the dotnmotfx and xna provided with Magicka in the dependancies folder.

Didn't work, reinstalled the game, uninstalled all dotnetfx and reinstalled them. Reinstalled XNA.

So I'm pretty much clueless as to what I can still do. Will post dxdiag and error report.

@ w!z@rD I know that, hence my 'will post dxdiag and error report'.:P

I also installed that dxwebsetup, but that one told me I already have latest dx.
