Magicka Language (Spoken Dialog)
Is it just me or is this hard-coded into game... I can read the text in english but the spoken dialog is in gibberish (not english) and, for me, it really takes a lot away from the experience. Did I set something wrong or does it do this for everyone. I don't even see an option allowing me to turn the spoken dialog off, if I could do at least that it would help.

All the dialogue is intentionally in gibberish (a bastardization of Swedish mixed in with some nonsense), it's intended that to be more silly

The spoken swedish/gibberish dialogue is actually a great part of the experience, just learn to enjoy it, and after you beat the game have some dunka dunka to celebrate.

Munster i skuuugen!

The gibberish is indeed "hard-coded".

The only one that speaks audible true English is Vlad at the very beginning of a chapter when you see the map and book pages.

He also says it in an obviously Transylvanian accent to further confirm, he is a vampire.

Good enough, question answered. It's actually a fun game and has a bit of flare from games I played years ago. I like it and don't consider it a waste of money, I just need to get time to try the co-op part now.

there is a mixture of language I feel. There is also Romania among the list of language. At first level just before tutorial level, our wizard enter a party room, after a balloon pop, one wizard says "surprinde" in place of surprise which is a Romanian word.

I have not seen enough evidence that Vlad is a vampire, but plenty in game to prove he isn't. He mentions it several times.
