Xbox controller Doesn't work for me

I have a third party wired Xbox 360 Controller I use for PC gaming that works fine on everything else; except Magicka. When I move around and use the Xbox controller before I even start the game, the game will crash and just exit out without any warning or info. Anyone know how to fix this if it is even possible to fix?

its a bug, reconiced by magicka team self. just star the game with keyboard, and when you are choosing character, press ESC and start with control xbox, the bug its just when you start with controller. try it, it works fine

yeah me too when i start with my xbox controller it opens and crashes

I agree. Tried with controller finally but do not like it. Friend used Xpadder and made it ok but still worst than keyboard.

mine doesn't work anyway =/. I play on a laptop, and doesn't matter what I try, it just doesn't work. But curiously, when I plugged it on my desktop, at the fist try it worked fine (I'm using a wireless controller)
