What language is the game in?

When I installed Magicka, it has English subtitles but seems to be spoken in another language - Dutch maybe? Is it supposed to be like that? I've only gone as far as Vlad speaking.

It's some sort of gibberish with lots of swedish and icelandic and english words.

There is a mixture of language I feel. There is also Romania among the list of language. At first level just before tutorial level, our wizard enter a party room, after a balloon pop one wizard says "surprinde" in place of surprise which is a Romanian word.
