Magicka
Casting the same element several times
Does pressing "Fire" "Fire" "Fire" several times cast a stronger fire than pressing it only once?

That's correct, casting the same element multiple times leads to stronger Magicka. Loading up the casting will also result in stronger Magicka. :bluewizard:

By "loading up the casting", what do you mean?

Keep pressing the cast button (right mouse button)
So does the game remembers my most recent element-mix, so that I can still cast it many minutes later by pressing right mouse button, if I didn't touch the element mixing in the meantime?

Because I thought that for each new "firing", I had to "load" the elements again, like loading a one-shot musket. This wastes a lot of time in combat.

You get a combination of elements and you cast them. You can keep them with you but you will walk incredibly slow. You can get a mix of elements and then put them on your blade. Shift + left click will put the current element mix on your blade. You can cast it at any time with shift + left click again.

So, the mix of elements that you make only works once and you need to press the keys again to get another. This game is about somewhat fast decision making and remembering what keys to press and what elements (combination of elements) are the most effective.

I'm not a pro by any means and it took me awhile to learn it somewhat. But it's fun.

In my experience the best way is to remember the composition of about 3-5 Spells you like and cast them accordingly to the element and power of your enemy. For example, a small gnome doesn't need a meteor strike to be defeatet and a enemy that uses fire shouldn't be attacked with fire. :redwizard:
If you don't mind me asking, what is the combo that you can spam for 3/4 of the game? Mine was lightning plus fire, but it didn't work in the third level, when after you exit the flying airship, you get attacked by three frozen creatures, and then you go further up the path, and you come to an enclosure where there are giant trees walking towards you, killing you if they touch you, plus a dark mage casting earth balls at you. I got stuck there. My lightning didn't kill the trees fast enough.
