Yes, it's absolutely worth it. Although please make sure your computer is compatible with this game, many people purchase this game only to find it won't work on their computer system!

This is the first game my 4 year old son learnt to play on the PC. He has racked up hundreds of hours playing this game. So yes is worth it. Only minor gripe is the time between updates.

This game would have filled the perfect niche if development were more consistent, multiplay should have been sorted long ago.

Game is half broken right now despite being in early access for so many years. Big ocean map has camera issues, there are less overall fish on all maps than there use to be (likely due to performance issues), and unlike on release, multiplayer no longer really functions.

Honestly? No. It's absolutely packed with bugs, most of it has been "in development" for at least a year, and a lot of the new updates have removed any fun from the game. If it was cheaper I'd say go for it, but this is the kind of game that's likely to be played for about half an hour and then never again. You could easily get a game that's at least as fun and much less annoying for cheaper. Maybe if it gets fixed up a bit more in the future it'll be worth it.

Also, a lot of people have had a problem where it won't run at all on their computer, and it seems pretty common. I'm sure you can get a refund if that happens, but it's worth being aware of if you do buy it.
