Unable to play survival.

Just bought the game for my daughter and survival mode is greyed out on all game mods. It says "this game mode is currently disabled, work in progress" or something like that. I keep reading of others playing survival mode. How do I access it?

I don't know. I think that it is a feature available in a future update. I think that only people that have been asked to showcase it in videos to build a fan base for the game can use it at the moment. She can play death-match. If she finds it hard, go on easy and there are some shortcuts. U + L will level up her character and L + I will give here coins to use better fish. Dont know, it was an option before the river rework, think they're reworking survival mode. Survival mode is a bit harder than deathmatch though as you have to start as a baby fish, mate, and raise your offspring in order to gain coins rather than just simply eating things.

new update temporarily removed survival. Devs said they're reworking it and it should be back soon

The entire Survival mode is updating. Deathmatch for me is hard, but maybe that is because Im way too paranoid about preds. Just my opinion. Also, U+L and L+I is a cheat and will remove achievments until you uninstall and reinstall the game, btw.

I was wondering about it too. I used to be able to play it, but now it's all greyed out. It was more fun to play that way rather than to just eat everything.
Raising a family was an interesting challenge.

Survival Mode was accessible before the river update, but they disabled it. You can't access it rn unless you go to an older version

no you dont have to untinstall and reinstall you just have to close the game
