Is there a way to play as octopus or giant octopus?

My nephew really loves those animals and if there is a way to play as them I would appreciate the help.

I’m afraid the only way to do it is to hack, but even then, I’m pretty sure you can only play as a giant squid

You could just use a cuttle fish because they are a type of cephalopod

Also, if he gets board of the, hallucinate prey, and spray ink at predators, try introducing him to the agailosaurus, (I think I spelled that right) it has really fun game because not only to you have to manage your oxygen level but also your body heat which you need to refill by going on land, the lower your body heat the slower you go

not quite sure how to get it working. do i put the extracted redist folder the same folder as the game?

Mods. Just mods. Search Azzafortysix mods and then download the files. Then, Unlike terraria mods, You dont have to do anything. You might have to extract them, I cant remember, But for the most part it instantly gives you the mod launcher. You then go into the Feed and Grow section, Get enchanted fish, Enable unlock all fish, Find that blue octopus!
