Achievement won't unlock (No cheats)

So i managed to kil the Great White with a level 30 (I think) Bibos without any cheats, i played it all legit.

But the achievement and playable didn't unlock???

Was it because i had gang on and the other members of the pack killed it too?

I'm kind of frustrated.

Did you ever figure this out? We are new to the game and have also played with no cheats and killed various creatures to unlock others and they don't unlock

no it only works in the reef map, as the great whites in the great map are weaker and i tried it before i had the great white achievment.

I ment to say reef but i got confused with the megalodon.

Cause i thought that was a great white remodol because i din't read the acheviment
