Christmas 2017 skins

Is it possible to unlock those 2017 christmas skins/achievements anymore? Since they switched the skin on the great white my son (7y) has been asking how to get the old skin back and now he saw a video on youtube with the old skin and I looked into it and it says I need an achievement for Christmas 2017 for which we are bit too late.

I think its possible to downgrade the game to the previous ptch in order to get the skins

Confirmed that this method for obtaining both the 3 achievements and skins for the Christmas 2017 patch DOES work. I followed the steps listed in the above guide on two different accounts and both were successful. Just FYI.

You just downloaded the manifest for 24th of December? Tried that and ended up with game crashing once I hit play. I'll keep trying though. Thanks for the tip.

Hey, sorry for bringing this tread up as it is 1,5 y+ old, however I couldn't find an answer to my question. So, I used the method above and managed to get all skins, but the alpha great white animations seem to be a bit off (a bit jiggly and the sprint animation seems also a bit bugged).
Are you guys also experiencing this with the current game version? I saw some patch notes after this thread was posted, where they seem to have decreased the speed of all sharks, so wanted to make sure it is a general issue and not something caused by using this method to get the skins? Thanks!
