Achievements and great white shark???
hello ive been playing this a few hours now, getting really into it but im seeing old videos of people playing as the great white, i didnt think it was possible cause its not in the top of the fish select screen so i tried to find an update where they may have made it not possible to play as the great white again but found nothing. So my first question is, is the great white still playable? my second is does it involve getting an achievement? for some reason achievements are locked for me and i cannot progress them atall, anything i am doing wrong? has anyone else had this problem? any help is much appreciated, thanks.

To unlock the Great White, you have to kill one in the Ocean Map (not the World Map you have to kill him in the smaller Ocean Map) on Deathmatch mode.

The only achievements that are unlockable are through the Crab Madness gamemode. Even then, half of the other achievements seem to be related to a Halloween/Christmas type event (the ones involving candy), and 1 achievement was only unlockable in 2016.
In my opinion, it's frustrating for people who might want to 100% the game, but it's their desicion :S

Awesome thanks for the reply guys, is the ocean map quite a lot smaller than the world map?

Yeah, the ocean map is about half the size of the great map.

You can earn the King of the Ocean achievement by either killing the Great White Shark only in single-player mode.

You can also earn the achievement by playing as the Browraug or the Tiger Shark for an extended period of time, though the amount of time you need to play is completely random and you only get the achievement by chance.

I was leveling up as a Browraug so I could kill the Great White Shark, and I ended up getting the achievement just as the Great White Shark snacked on me.

Ironic, but it can happen.
