kid-friendly settings?
hello,

i like to play the game and my son is 6, likes to watch. Unfortunately, I can only put the graphics on good because otherwise the wounds on the fish can be seen. I think that does not fit with such a nice friendly game. I think it's very disgusting. Is there a way to be able to set the graphics higher without these bloody wounds?

best wishes kabelklops

I have seen a setting for the level of gore in the game, cannot tell you where it was, but it can take even the bitemarks away as I recall. When I get home this evening I will look it up and get back to you (I'm at work now).

the problem is that you should show him the wounds its not a problem he should learn some thinks instead of beliving that everythink happens due to magic

You dont understand much about children it seems..
They have controls that have a button to turn off and on for reasons like this. So that minors can play along with teens by turning gore , horror and nightmare fuel for toddlers and above 7yrs. So no you cant really have them learn that at the age of 6... not everyone wants to let their kids play games like most of us take in mind..

I honestly don't know the problem with gore, theoretically the games meat chunks should be classified as bad, if you think the wounds look bad. Then again, I've been exposed to this stuff since I was around five, so the line of "bad" and "normal" is blurred for me, gore wise.

But yes, I think there is a option that disables gore? But I can't recall. (in my experience, the gore only appears for me in the beautiful settings q.q)

A game about killing to win is not kid friendly if you think about it. If your kid watches animal planet you will clearly see real fish gore during the shark week. Or a bloody african lion eating a zebra. If you don't want to exspose your kids to nature then I don't know what to say other then acept the loss of graphics so your kids can watch a game with killing without the gore. Kinda like what happened to mortal combats gore. A fighting game with loads of blood that got censord to remove blood and finishers. But still have violent acts use in them. Games like feeding frenzy are better for kids cause there is no fish fighting. You just gulp things or be gulped yourself. You are kinda asking for a game that has guns to remove the guns while still letting you shoot and kill people.

Game Dad here - I am in possession of a 7, 6, and 1.75 year old. Blood comes out of living creatures and we learned that in our household when our noses bleed or our bodies. My kids handle this cartoon mock violence just fine, then we talk about how cool these creatures really are. Ichthyosaurus was beautiful in the way it was an apex predator - like how beautiful a Great White is when you look at the mechanics of it. Those discussions are handled by the age group you are asking about, sounds like you're not ready to teach, not they aren't ready to learn.
