Black tip shark needs a buff
It's actually too weak. It can't fight anything at all, it just stands a chance against things that are smaller than him, just because it won't get attacked. 2 health per level is too little, and the baby version has a stronger bite than the big one. Sense? Nope, I've lost over 300 coins trying to make it work out, but the tunas just gangbang me no matter if im bigger
My suggestion? improve the health per level, the base damage and rip off damage and also increase the size of the mature stage. I've killed black tip sharks with a crab at lvl 1...

Yeah, the "rip apart" damage is extremely lackluster especially on top of it's slow bite speed. I played Blacktip once and never touched it again.

As of right now I'm running a Black Tip Reef Shark game where I'm at Level 115. The trick is cheesing your way through smaller creatures by default.

Here's my strategy, it takes a while, but the build-up leads to some fun and shenanigans:

First things first, the Blacktip Reef Shark's spawn is the *most* inhospitable place for it to be. Literally everything and anything will attack you, there's no safe way out of this. To realize your truest potential, you have to actually flee the reef and make for the surface as quickly as possible. Do this as soon as possible because most larger fish stay down lower.

When you get towards the surface (roughly 10 feet below surface and above), run straight for one of the shallow beaches and you've found your first ten-to-thirty minutes of gameplay right here. Move quickly, avoid Bibos and Barracudas. Crabs are a minor annoyance and honestly they run away once you reach maturity. Don't worry yourself too much with them unless you know you can catch one.

When you hit roughly level 10, you're at regular adult size for the playground and you can start moving from the shallows and into the shelfs around you. One note of interest is that turtles are incredibly slow and if you take to hit-and-run tactics, you can nab one early, but ultimately this is useless. You're actually better off finding lone barracudas, or schools of fish. Avoid bigger fish like the plague and I don't think I need to warn you of what happens if you're not paying attention.

At roughly level 20, you can start fighting Angler Fish and Tuna (iirc, but I may be wrong in sizes here). Take your game from there and you'll find the Blacktip actually remains a strong predator into end-game levels (anything past 50, during which you're mostly just saving up to fight the Mosasaur).

Advantages of the Blacktip are incredibly enough hidden it's own ability to move quickly. Tapping boost, rather than draining will highlight this strength, as it has a good stamina regen. Additionally, the rip and bite, while under-powered serve as the basis for its build, making it absolutely vital to pick and choose your fights wisely. Additionally, most predators will still approach you into late levels, but once you hit end-game... all but hammerheads run from your presence (seriously though, what is up with that?).

black tip is ok hes problem is that he spawns next to the tuna which are not only much stronger and faster but they also attack the baby black tips so when the adults try to help they die too and even if you survive its really hard for you to find a mate due to that fat fish
