i cant choose fish that are not free it just takes the amount of coins away from my coin amount

We're also having this issue. We played deathmatch until we had enough coins saved for the Barracuda, then when we selected the Barracuda it took the coins but after we spawned it said "we didn't have enough credits to play as this fish".

Same problem. Tried to breed with a black tip reef shark and it took coins and then gave the message that I don't have enough. But the coins were deducted anyway. This happened twice in a row to me.

It's been happening to a lot of people. A solution that worked for me is exiting the map (Don't close the game, just go back to the main menu) and starting it up again. You'll keep your coins, and you should be able to select the fish you want.

Question: Once you "buy" a new fish, will that fish be available from then on? I've been reading about people unable to unlock any new fish and losing their coins. I am hoping this either has been fixed or will be fixed.

@Salinte No, you just pay the coins to play as the fish one time. It's pretty easy to farm for coins though; In survival you get alot by raising babies to adulthood which can be accomplished without leaving the shore. Deathmatch has such generous coin gain rates that once you know where everything is you'll be able to play as just about anything in minutes. Deathmatch coins reset whenever you leave the game though.


I've had the OPs problem with losing coins without spawning whenever I'd try to select Blue Tangs/Dory, most of the other fish appear to work fine for me though.
